Narrative Description of Project:
The project consisted of the construction of 23,000m3 ground reservoir, 10,000m3 elevated tank and the laying of 50km of pipelines ranging from 900mm to 200mm diameter; complete rehabilitation of 19 water treatment plants at Weija and Kpong pumping stations with outputs of 68ml/d and 182ml/d respectively.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:
As sub-consultants to Howard Humphreys of the United Kingdom, ABP was responsible for the preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, tender evaluation, construction supervision and contract management for the construction of reservoir, laying of pipelines and rehabilitation of pumping stations and treatment works. This also involved the general rehabilitation of water supply system in the cities of Accra and Tema based on already outlined masterplan.
