Narrative Description of Project:
The Project which is been executed in phases comprises the establishment of an aluminium rolling mill. Initially the plant was to produce 10,000 tonnes/year of semi-finished products form ingots supplied by VALCO. Subsequent phases have increased annual production to 30,000 tonnes/year using both ingots and molten aluminium. Equipment and plant layout were supplied by Hunter Engineering of Riverside, California, USA and FATA European Group, Italy. Engineering services included designs of foundations to machinery, factory and administration buildings, infrastructral works comprising reinforced concrete internal roads, access roads, electrical power supply and distribution, water supply and distribution, waste disposal and drainage system.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:
ABP provided all engineering design services (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical), preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates and bill of quantities, construction supervision and contract management of more than five separate contracts that have been awarded so far. Project is still continuing and current phase comprises designs of foundations for additional equipment for further expansion.
