Narrative Description of Project:
This was a sub-urban housing estate for over 70,000 people. Phase 1 of the project comprised a total of 14No. Five and three storey blocks of flats and associated infrastructure comprising about 25km of asphaltic concrete road, close conduit drainage system, sewerage network, 6km of water supply distribution network, interchange bridges and street lighting.
Phase II works comprised the structural design of 10No .five storey block of flats in reinforced concrete and associated infrastructure. Infrastructure works comprised about 2km bituminous surfaced roads, drainage works, septic tanks sewerage system, design of 3000m3 reinforced concrete underground water reservoir, 35,000gal Braithwaite overhead tank and water distribution network.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:
ABP provided complete civil/structural engineering services including designs, preparation of bidding documents, evaluation of bids, pre- qualification of contractors, supervision of construction and contract management for all the infrastructural works.
