Narrative Description of Project:

The project is aimed at resettling the residents of Atuabo/Akontansi at New Atuabo within the planned mine development area of the Tarkwa Gold Mine. Due to the volume of the project, it was packaged into separate contracts as follows:

     i. Contract 1: Erosion Control Grassing

• This component of the project consisted of the grassing of embankments of area 3905m².
• Ii. Contract 2: Box Culverts
• The works under this contract consisted of the construction of 4No. Box Culvert to channel out water from the prepared land.
