Narrative Description of Project:

Project consisted of rehabilitation  of feeder roads in some Cocoa growing areas in the Goaso District (Brong Ahafo Region) and Kumasi Districts (Ashanti Region ). 5No. Contracts were involved and the total length of all roads covered was 340km. Work was executed by four different contractors at a total cost of US$4.32m.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:

ABP was responsible for the preparation of road inventory of existing roads and of line diagrams showing extent of deterioration, nature and extent of improvement/rehabilitation required for each kilometre of road. Studies were followed by review of designs previously carried out by the Client,  construction supervision and contract management.
