The project was an appraisal mission to undertake studies leading to the rehabilitation of Jowhar Sugar Project. The Study covered  the irrigation facilities, drainage and infrastructural services including housing, roads communication, medical services and recreational facilities. The project was financed by African Development Bank, Abidjan.
