Narrative Description of Project:

The project was to resettle villages displaced by the Kpong Lake.  5No villages each of approximate population of 3000 were resettled. Facilities provided included housing, access roads, drains, water supply, power supply and sanitation.  It also comprised planning and design of sewage disposal system for the 5 villages as well as Akuse township with a combined population of about 10,000. Power supply involved the design and supervision of construction of 20km 11kV distribution networks, 5No. 300/500kVA transformer substations, 50km of low voltage distribution networks and 10,000 service connections.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:

Services provided were topographical surveys, co-ordination of geotechnical investigation, planning and design of rural infrastructure and sewage disposal system, contract management and construction supervision
