Narrative Description of Project:

The project consists of provision of gravity irrigation supplies from the existing Kpong reservoir and remodelling the existing irrigation system for cultivation of paddy rice by small holders; rehabilitation of existing 1.955ha of irrigated land and further development of 1.073ha of gravity irrigation for perennial rice production.; and rehabilitation of existing buildings and infrastructure.  The project cost ¢12billion and was funded by Arab Bank of Economic Development in Africa (BADEA)

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:

As sub-consultants to Mott MacDonald of Cambridge, the duties rendered by ABP consist of the design of pump stations and selection of ingestion pumps as well as contract management and supervision of construction.
