Narrative Description of Project:

The project consisted of studies/investigations and the designs of four major  interchanges and three footbridges with some of the bridges involved having spans of over 430m. The interchanges are Obetsebi Lamptey Circle Interchange, Kaneshie Market Interchange, Darkuman/Dansoman Interchange and Mallam/Winneba Road Interchange. The studies/investigations involved main bridges, interconnecting bridge loops, approaches, drainage structures, pedestrian accesses and exits. All the bridges were designed in cast-in-place post-tensioned  prestressed concrete.

Description of Actual Services Provided by ABP:

ABP was responsible for all geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys, hydrological studies, designs, detailing and preparation of bid documents.
